MLADU can ensure a seamless connection to your AWS S3 bucket by leveraging permissions granted through an AWS S3 Bucket Policy. This approach enhances security and simplifies access management. Your S3 bucket remains fully under your organization's ownership and governance—MLADU will never alter its properties, security configurations, or contents.
To ensure smooth operations, we recommend using a dedicated S3 bucket exclusively for data transfers. Isolating transfer activity prevents data collisions and keeps your organization's ongoing work in other buckets uninterrupted.
MLADU provides a pre-built bucket policy template for your convenience, making setup fast and straightforward. Using bucket policies instead of IAM access keys adds an additional layer of security, aligning with best practices for safeguarding your data.
MLADU prioritizes the integrity of your data. By leveraging AWS checksum values, we ensure the accuracy of every transfer. Each completed transfer is accompanied by a detailed manifest, offering you complete transparency.
MLADU adheres to AWS file size limitations, supporting files ranging from 0 bytes to a maximum of 5 TB per object. For single PUT operations, the current limit is 5 GB. These limits are subject to change based on AWS updates, and we remain fully aligned with their evolving standards.
