How MLADU Connects to Box

MLADU integrates with Box using Box's secure OAuth 2.0 authentication framework. Through the Box Admin Console, administrators can grant controlled access to specific folders and content without exposing usernames or passwords.

Using Box-generated access tokens, MLADU establishes a secure connection to your Box environment and transfers only the files and folders required for the approved transfer.

MLADU does not take ownership of your Box account and does not manage, modify, reorganize, or alter your content. Your Box environment remains fully under your organization's control and governance at all times.

Security and Governance

  • Access can be revoked at any time through the Box Admin Console.
  • MLADU recommends removing or revoking Box access tokens after transfer completion if ongoing access is no longer required.

Box File Size Considerations

As of 2025 and 2026, Box supports file uploads up to 500 GB per file on the Enterprise Advanced plan. This increase from the previous 150 GB limit enables organizations to manage significantly larger content within Box.

Box File Integrity Verification

Box maintains a SHA-1 integrity hash for every file stored within the platform. This hash is exposed through the Box API and can be used to verify file integrity. To learn more about Box file integrity, please click here.
